Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Giving back to society and the sense of responsibility towards the well-being of the society is a part of our company ethics. To this end, community development programmes target four broad areas: Education, Skilling and Livelihood, Health and Environmental Sustainability. Through our developmental activities, we made a significant difference in the lives of marginalized communities close to our plant locations and across the State of Andhra Pradesh. To maximize our reach and guarantee a beneficial impact for all our stakeholders, we continue to deepen our connections with NGOs and other groups.

We work with credible institutions, non-government organisations (NGOs), and Trusts to execute our social initiatives effectively.

In accordance with requirements of the Companies Act 2013, Company’s CSR activities, amongst others, will focus on the following areas:

  • Promotion of education and healthcare
  • Eradication of poverty and hunger
  • Betterment of the society through conservation of natural resources, drinking water and the environment
  • Taking up programmes that benefit the communities in vicinity wherever the Company operates and results, over a period of time, in enhancing the quality of life & economic wellbeing of the local populace.

Collaborating with communities and institutions to contribute to the national mission of eradicating poverty and hunger especially in rural areas, skill development and knowledge sharing, conservation and development of plantation and forest resources, empowering women economically, supplementing primary education and participating in rural capacity building programs and other initiatives.
